I am a 47 year old, Native American widow, who has survived domestic violence and human trafficking. I have been beaten, raped and shot. The experiences I have gone through you can’t get a degree in any school.

A Prayer of Protection from Psalm 91

Like most women today, I lead an active life and have all my life. Often, I feel like a one-woman juggling act. Sometimes, it gets out of control  – or, rather, I get out of control.                                                                                                     Recently, I found myself waking up in the middle of the morning, dreading to face the new day and my seemingly endless chores and duties. My prayer time was suffering because I felt overwhelmed with pressures and responsibilities. Yet, I kept takingon more and more. Because no one else would do any work.                                    Then, one morning, I glanced down at a note pad a friend had given me for Christmas. It read, One day at a time. Seeking God‘s guidance, I sat down and made a list of the things I truly needed to accomplish that day. I didn’t worry about what I had failed to do yesterday, or what I hoped to do tomorrow. I just concentrated on today.               As the day progressed (beginning with a renewed and refreshed prayer time), I found time to straighten my house, attend a friend’s funeral, visit with a neighbor, do my writing. As I climbed into to bed that night, I looked at my list and smiled. I was right on schedule.                                Lord, help me to remember it’s not by my power, nor by my might, but by your Spirit that we accomplish anything worthwhile. Amen.

I have a website on Google, delanaforsyth.blogspot.com, and LinkedIn.

“For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is a power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:16-17)

Father, I praise You that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and that I  shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of You, Lord, “The Lord is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I confidently trust!”                                                               For then You will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. Then You will cover me with Your pinions [feathers], and under Your wings shall I trust and find refuge. Your truth and Your faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.                                                                 I shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, nor pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and lay at noonday.                                                     A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, bit it shall not come near me. Only a spectator shall I be [inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as I witness the reward of the wicked.                            Because I have made You, Lord, my refuge, and the Most High my dwelling place, there shall no evil befall me, nor any plague or calamity come near my tent. For You will give Your angels especial change over me, to accompany and defend and preserve me in all my ways of obedience and service. Your angels shall bear me up on their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.                                               I shall tread upon the lion and adder. The young lion and the serpent shall I trample underfoot. Because I have set my love upon You, therefore will You deliver me. You will set me on high, because I know and understand Your Name.                                                                                                     I  have a personal knowledge of Your mercy, love, and kindness. I trust and rely on You, knowing You will never forsake me, no, never. I shall call upon You, and  You will answer me. You will be with me in trouble. You will deliver me and honor me. With long life will You satisfy me and show me Your salvation!

Make it personal wake up, Christians in 30,000,000 didn’t vote in 2016. Shame on us! I was one of them, until I started really listening to the news and Donald Trump, became President. Listening to the way he talked and knowing President Trump, what he promised he did.

Take your place Believers.

It is our contention that it is the duty and responsibility to of every Christian to vote and to vote for leaders who promote Christian principles. God is most certainly in control, but that does not mean we should do nothing to further His will.

Pray for America and Civil War

1 Timothy 2:1,2 – Supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for kings and all who are in authority…

Civil War is one of those strange terms in the English language that does not seem to make sense.

The Definition of “CIVIL” are: of or relating to ordinary citizens and their concerns,

When the Righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but, when the wicked are in authority, the people mourn.

Begin to experience God’s peace and presence and find the faith to move forward!

As the national election draws near, we might feel anxious and uncertain for the future of our nation. God is in control! He can empower us to more forward in faith. “Courteous and polite.”

The Definition of war is simpler: 1- an armed conflict between two parties.” 2- When put together, civil war “an conflict between two citizens of the same country.”

Civil was like any other was, after begins with the leaders believing it will be over quickly, that other whatever goals, they wish to achieve will be grand with out much blood shed. Once any war begins how ever, there is no way to know how long it will last, which side will win, or how many lives will be lost.

At the beginning of the American Civil War,

Many on both sides believed the way would last a very short time and their goals could be achieved quickly blood shed. Instead, the war lasted four long years, and about 750,000, Americans lost their lives.

In fact, more, Americans died in the Civil War when all other wars combined.

That includes the Revolutionary War; Throughout the course of the war,

an estimated 6,800 Americans were killed in action,

In action 6,100 wounded and upwards of 20,000 were taken prisoner. Historians believe at least an additional 17,000 deaths were the result of disease, including about 8,000 – 12,000 who died while prisoners of war.

Number of America’s Wars U.S. Casualties and Veterans

1 American Revolution 1775-1783

What Christian’s Need to Say; Let’s Protect What God Has Built a Nation Free to Praise Him and Better Brighter America.

I hadn’t heard about the love languages until it was too late, until I was married to someone who didn’t speak mine.

There are five of them — the five languages of love. I say that as though they exist somewhere out there in the ether, as though they have always been. But in fact it has been only 30 years. In 1992, Gary Chapman, a pastor and radio host in North Carolina, published “The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate” with a small religious press. Over 20 million copies were sold, and the book was translated into 50 languages and made its way into the hearts and minds of laypeople and clinicians and Oprah. It has been on the New York Times best-seller list for more than a decade.

Dr. Chapman believes that most people give and receive love in these ways:

Words of affirmation. Complimenting. “I didn’t think you needed help with the USB cable because you’re so smart.”

Quality time. You want your husband to watch everything you want to watch with you, and you expect him to know which things you would never watch and those are the things he can watch by himself.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We are to acknowledge that we have made a conscious choice to turn away from the bad deeds and sinful habits, and we have turned to the holy life God has presented before us. God had to forgive us of our sins first in order for us to be qualified to live this life. We are to never forget of this great forgiveness that God promised the children of Israel all those years ago. Repent from all evil ways, and choose to be transformed by the love of God and His Word.

Father, I humbly present myself as one who has chosen to turn away from their sinful ways. Thank you for your patience, O Lord, and for never going back on your promises. Were it not for your forgiveness, O Father, I don’t know where I would be. I humble myself before you, O Lord, and pray that I abide in you and nothing else. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
