Introduction: “Who? Me?”

Psalm 115:12-13, 15 < The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us. … He will bless those who fear the LORD, Both small and great. … May you be blessed by the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

The Bible often speaks of the blessings God has for us when we walk in His way. Following His simple-to-understand-but not always easy-to-live-out – guidelines for our attitudes and behavior can definitely means experiencing life’s most wonderful blessing.

Yet some of these blessings come unexpectedly. As Christians, we want to be sensitive to God’s often quiet, gentle leadings so we don’t miss a single blessing He has for us. Has God recently been asking you – nudging you – to do something you’ve not yet done? Perhaps He has has you (me) thinking about reading His Word more regularly? I pray so.

THis blog highlights one hundred passages of Scripture that will enrich our walk together with God and encourage us to obey His commands. As we ponder the blessings implicit in these instructions, We will see more clearly that God desires a close and personal relationship with us and, along the way, to bless us in ways far greater than we can ever imagine.

Please, lets encourage each other to walk hand in hand with each other every single day to be in the presents of our Lord. All around the world we will be amazed by God’s blessings. Because Christ promises to be in the mist when two or more are in agreement of anything. I believe the agreement is believing in Him.

Look at the blessing revealed in the first line of today;s scripture: God Himself – the Creator ans Sustainer of all that exists, the Author of history – “has been mindful of us”! Yes, us! He knows who we are. He is aware of our needs and concerns, our dreams and disires. What a blessing! And God wants to bless us right where we are. The more we honor Him with our lives He goes to work. Remember God is always working in our lives. In fact, the closer we walk with Jesus, the more likely He will become. Then, God uses us to bless someone else, that person may see Jesus reflection in and on us.

When we place other people’s needs and desires before our own, we are in a postion to be a blessing. In fact, we are living in a way the glorifies God when we ask Him to use us to bless someone. And what a joy and blessing to know that God uses us to bless others..

May we live thanking God for all His blessings and yiels to His using us to bless others!

Jesus in Luke 12:37-38, 43 < “Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. And if he should in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. …

Blessed is that servant whom his master will find [watching for him] when he comes.”
